Clean Britain Awards Recognition
Every entry received for the 2008/2009 Clean Britain Awards will be assessed against the Awards criteria previously outlined and awarded a Star Grading ranging from 1-5 Stars.
Entries awarded a 3, 4 or 5 Star Grading will receive Clean Britain Awards Certificates relevant to the Grade awarded.
Clean Britain Awards Inspectors will pick areas defined in each entry at random for a detailed inspection assessment.
Entries winning 5 Star Grades will automatically qualify for a National Award.
National Awards will be presented to each of the three entry category winners.
Every entry will receive an Inspector’s Summary Report detailing both the strengths and weaknesses of the areas inspected, to assist Local Authority management with their efforts to raise standards of cleanliness.
There will be one or more Special Awards for entries considered to merit special recognition but which may not be selected as major entry category winners.
There will also be an Overall Winner for the 2008/2009 Clean Britain Awards, selected from one of the three entry category winners.
